A global livestream event for YouTube. The band performed 5 tracks interweaved with soundscapes of collected fan’s voices from around the world. The band’s fourth album, a concept album based around a fictional tech company Future Inc, explores the questions around how technology will continue to influence our lives. The aim was to create a film that sat comfortably in the Future Inc world whilst also pushing the boundaries of the content they’d already produced for the album promo. I was fascinated in how the human collided with the tech, landing on an idea that saw the band posing questions tied to the tracks themes whilst their fans responded to these questions. We incorporated these audio soundbites throughout the film in dreamlike soundscapes.
