A 30-mile commemorative walk led by England legend Carol Thomas BEM, retracing key moments in the history of women’s football to celebrate the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022. The journey, aptly titled Follow in Her Footsteps, brought together iconic figures from across generations - including Anette Borjesson, Chloe Morgan, Iqra Ismail, Rachel Yankey and Janine Chamberlin - to spotlight the progress of the women’s game and inspire the next chapter of its growth.
